Our brand new YOUNG LEADERS COMMUNITY launches on Tuesday 5 November 7-8:30pm.
We want to grow a red-hot core of young people in KingsGate Youth, leading across 4 teams -
WORSHIP, PRODUCTION, SPEAKING & CONNECT
developing your faith, character and calling for all things leadership.
Young Leaders is an interactive and immersive course running from November up till May half term, including powerful teaching, deep spiritual discipleship, and expert practical workshops to develop your skills, gifts and talents.

EXPECTATIONS & COMMITMENT
(WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A YOUNG LEADER)
TURN UP, GIVE MY BEST, GROW IN MY FAITH
TURN UP: Leaders are reliable and consistent
- Attend Young Leaders every Tuesday, 7-8:30pm
- Commit to attending Friday Youth Nights
- Commit to attending church on Sunday mornings
- Serve in a Young Leaders role on Sunday mornings 2 weeks out of 4.
- Serve in a Young Leaders role on Crew Nights and when asked to on Future Nights and Social Nights
GIVE MY BEST: Leaders work hard to become all God has called them to be
- Do your best to own the vision of KingsGate Youth, and help other young people do the same
- Be a positive role model for other young people in Youth in how you act, speak and behave
- When serving, turn up on time, ready and prepared to give your best
- Support adult Youth Leaders in their roles on Fridays and Sundays, offering help and giving your best when asked for help
- Operate in serving roles to the best of your ability
- Commit to growing and improving your skills, gifts and talents
GROW IN MY FAITH: Leaders have deep, intimate, fulfilling relationships with God
- Commit to growing in your faith and in a deepening, personal relationship with Jesus
- Commit to reading your Bible and praying regularly
- Commit to living out and growing in KingsGate’s 4 priorities to the best of your ability: Knowing God, Living In Freedom, Growing In Community, Making A Difference
- Commit to growing in and learning to live out KingsGate’s 9 key practices: Bible, Spirit, Worship, Prayer, Fasting, Community, Serving, Witness, Generosity
